This contract is being undertaken as main contractor, involving the management of the site, Health & Safety and sub-contractors.

The project consists of the construction of a 1400m2 BMW showroom and a 500m2 Mini showroom. All external works including 15000m3 of bulk earthworks, 6200m2 of car parking and distribution roads and street lighting.

The onsite attenuation system included, but was not restricted to, a 225m3 attenuation tank, 3No interceptor/separator units and 2300m2 of porous paviours.

The building construction was standard ring beam foundation/pad foundations on gravel piles, with steel framed structure, blockwork and cladding panels.

Kilmac’s duties as main contractor included liaison with utility companies and local authorities.

Kilmac’s management have ensured that the project is ahead of programme with the Mini Dealership completion date brought forward by several months to allow early trading .
