The works primarily involved the construction of a 6000m2 225mm C40 air entrained reinforced concrete slab including all construction, contraction and hard standing joints. The construction of approx. 125m of 2.5m high reinforced concrete retaining wall. It also included the construction of the concrete slab, manholes and drainage for the wash down area.

The external slabs were poured in 4No 1500m2 panels over a 5 day period.

This reduced the overall programme by some 8 weeks.
