KILMAC History

The company was founded in 2004 by Athole McDonald and Richard Kilcullen with its first project being a 3 year term contract for West Lothian Council upgrading the existing footways, in association with Tayside Contracts.

With a knowledge of all types of Civil Engineering projects, the company has undertaken over 100 projects in its 5 years of trading. These range from Marine Engineering with Dundee City Council to £10 million school groundworks packages for Laing O'Rourke with Perth & Kinross Council.

Drawing from an engineering background, the company's emphasis has been on the management of contracts ensuring completion on time, safely and within budget. This has ensured customer satisfaction resulting in repeat business with all clients.

In the first 3 years trading the company has built the reputation of a highly competent civil engineering/groundworks contractor supplying a professional, all round service.

Building on this reputation the company has undertaken a number of public sector projects working directly with all central belt Local Authorities.

The company is located in Perth but draws on a labour force from Perth & Kinross, Dundee, Angus, Fife and Stirlingshire to ensure delivery of a competitive service throughout Central Scotland.
