KILMAC BACK TESTIMONIAL MATCH

Posted on October 10, 2017

Kilmac were delighted to play a role in the Dave Mackay Testimonial match at McDiarmid Park.

The game between St Johnstone and Dundee honoured the Perth club’s first ever Scottish Cup winning captain and the Dark Blues were the first team Mackay played for as a professional.

Kilmac sponsored the match and the corporate logo was carried on the back of the Saints jerseys which, for the occasion, also featured the name Mackay and his number 2.

The Tayside derby saw legends from both clubs taking to the field, including Jody Morris, the current Chelsea youth coach, and Stoke City midfielder Charlie Adam.

The game was won 5-3 by Dundee.
